Kurz gesagt

Wer uns dabei hilft

Rechtsgrundlage

Solange dein Konto besteht.

In short

The app without an account

You can use AutoCoach without signing in and import lessons from a file. Lessons, listening progress, marks, notes and voice notes then stay on your device only. The app sends nothing to us.

The account and the library

When you sign in, we store:

Invitations by email

If someone invites you to a course, we store your email address with the course and send you an invitation. It is valid for 30 days; in the app you can accept it, decline it, or block further invitations from that person. The person who invited you sees your name only once you accept. Your address is deleted when the course or the inviting account is deleted.

Who helps us

These services process the data on our behalf and only to provide their service to us.

Lessons are made on the computer of the person who writes them, with their own tools. The app itself sends no data to AI services.

Legal basis

We process your data to provide the service you use (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Invitation emails to people without an account rest on the inviting person's legitimate interest in sharing a course (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); nobody gets more than three invitations a day, and anyone who wants none writes to us.

How long

As long as your account exists. If you delete it (in the app under Settings), we delete your account, your courses, uploaded lessons, feedback and voice notes right away. You can also delete single voice notes and courses before that.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Write to the address above. You can also complain to a supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate.
